Our Team

José Manuel Romero
Cinematographer
José Manuel Romero is a Venezuelan filmmaker with over 15 years of experience in feature films, documentary series, short fiction, commercials, and environmental reports. Specialized in adventure filmmaking, extreme sports, high mountain expeditions, and wildlife documentation, he has received national and international awards as a Director, Director of Photography, and photographer. His work has been featured at festivals worldwide and in collaborations with organizations such as Associated Press, National Geographic, and Netflix. He also teaches Cinematography at the Film School of the Universidad de Los Andes in Venezuela.

Erika Rodríguez

Erika Rodríguez is a Venezuelan filmmaker and biologist, with degrees in Audiovisual Media and Biology from the Universidad de los Andes. She has collaborated with National Geographic Society, Associated Press, Arte TV, and DW Germany. Her works include the series Andes Mágicos (Netflix), Life the Ice (Beach House Picture, 2022), Último Glaciar Venezolano. Vida después del hielo (2021), and Se van los glaciares (2018). Her dual background allows her to merge science and cinema with great sensitivity. She is currently involved in the Humboldt Peak 360° expedition, contributing her expertise to create an immersive work on the fragility of Andean glaciers.
